As an artist, February has been an eventful month for me. After a long wait of more than 4 months, I finally received my 5 large canvases. I was thrilled to have them and couldn't wait to start painting on them. I spent a lot of time preparing them by applying Gesso, which is an important process for any artist before they begin painting.
At my school, the kids were excited to see the large canvases and they kept asking me what I was going to paint on them. I showed them a couple of sketches and they were amazed at the detail. It's always a joy to see how children get inspired and curious about art.
In the meantime, I also finished a couple of unfinished paintings. It felt great to finally complete them, and I was happy with the results.
I spent a lot of time planning my first painting on the new large canvases. It's always a process for me to plan and visualize the artwork before I begin painting. I want to make sure that I capture the essence of what I am trying to create, and that it is visually pleasing.
Overall, February has been a great month for my art. I am excited to see what March has in store and can't wait to see what new artwork I will create.
